Purification:

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phospholation site.

Specificity/Sensitivity:

PGK1（Acetyl-Lys388 )antibody detects endogenous levels of PGK1 only when acetylated at lysine388 .

Applications:

Background:

As an ATP-generating enzyme, PGK1 expression is upregulated in many types of human cancers. Glutamine deprivation and hypoxia result in ARD1-dependent phosphoglycerate kinase 1 (PGK1) K388 acetylation. PGK1 K388 acetylation levels correlate with poor prognosis in glioblastoma patients [1]
